Water drips down the walls
Water collects on the floor
My house is losing it's breath
My walls are crumbling in
Can you hear me now
Crawling through the tunnels
Rolling down the road to the hollow where the heart goes
My love like the pit of a plum
Picked clean, standing alone
Still life, how do I show
That I aim to give it my all
Can you hear me now
Crawling through the tunnels
Rolling down the road to the hollow where the heart goes
Why's it so hard to leave
Comfort is a killer
Glean it all before the freeze
Force the cold air through my teeth
Links to the preorder for this came up in my Twitter feed too many times to ignore. It's filled with dance jams that will remind you of St. Vincent or Feist, but with lots more edge and booty shaking. Emily Hogan
I like how the vocals are somewhere unique between talking and singing. 'Heartloose' is a beautiful piece of poetry. I have listened to it so many times but it retains its magic. lady of shalott
